TURNING STONE

During our stay at Turning Stone, you will have free time to enjoy this beautiful resorts pool and spa.  Tuesday, we will depart for the Finger Lakes Region.  While in this area, we will visit a Mennonite farm.  We will visit the beautiful Ventosa winery for lunch and tasting.  Also, we will take a boat ride around the north end of Seneca Lake to learn about the history of Seneca Lane and the surrounding area..  The following day we will visit the George Eastman House for a tour of the mansion, gardens and exhibits.  We will have a short tour of Rochester and end at the Highland Park to see the beautiful lilacs.  Afterwards, a special dinner at NY Kitchen for dinner/cooking demonstrations and wine tasting.  Before departing for home, we will visit the Glenn Curtis Museum of Aviation and Bully Hill Winery.

BOSTON, GLOUCESTER & ROCKPORT

Our annual July 4th celebration begins.  We will be making a morning stop and a lunch stop before arriving in beautiful Maine.  We will stop in Portland for dinner at DiMillo’s.  The Boothbay Harbor Inn is a beautiful motel directly on the waterfront which has a wonderful indoor and outdoor lounge for your enjoyment.  There is a walkway bridge over the water to the Village of Boothbay Harbor.  Of course a favorite of many is walking over the bridge at night for their delicious homemade ice cream.  During our stay in the Boothbay Region, we will have a cruise through the Sebago Lake region aboard the Songo River Queen, a nostalgic paddle wheeler.   We will tour the Boothbay area, and have a boat ride to Cabbage island for our Lobster Bake on the 4th and our DOCK PARTY with heavy snack buffet and great view of the fireworks on the waterfront of our motel.   A trip to BAR HARBOR where we will have time in Bar Harbor for lunch on your own before touring Acadia National Park and lobster dinner.  We will  stop on the way home in Kennebunkport for lunch and shopping on your own.
